About the event
Excursion in the Boschi del Giovetto di Paline Nature Reserve, climbing through a beautiful coniferous forest, populated by red and white firs and larches in the highest part, up to the Giovetto pass.
The reserve is also famous for the populations of Rufa Ants, which embellish the forest with their characteristic domed nests (maple trees).
From the Giovetto Pass, continue on a path along the crest of the Costone, until reaching the peak of the same name.
The view of the Corna di San Fermo and Pizzo Camino is beautiful, as are the nearby Presolana and the Bergamo Orobie to the north, while to the south, you can see the Valle Camonica. Return via the Costone Pass and Rifugio San Fermo, completing a splendid circular itinerary.
